”The Fool”

ClientHaaretz GalleryYear2022Role Art Direction, Costume Design
“The Fool card is one of the 78 tarot cards. It represents innocence, virginity, naivety, purity of heart, and a journey into the unknown. When presented upside down, its positive potential is also reversed, and it symbolizes the blindness and lack of orientation in the space that a naive person suffers from and everything that could go wrong along the way. … The clothes were designed by Matan Meirson from biodegradable materials, and some of the items reflect light. We are actually looking at the models on set, but they are also looking at themselves and each other. Some of them look back at us through a mirror. …” (Ofir Hovav, Haaretz)
